On March 15. 2008, Joshua Wayne Anthony Brown "J-Brizz" unexpectedly passed away at 17 playing baketball, the game he loved in Reading, PA. It was later determined he collapsed due to an enlarged heart. Josh's passing affected lots of people in the community, including many of the current JRF Panthers softball players who were friends, teammates and classmates of Josh.
In honor of Josh's memory, the JRF Panthers softball team has come together in hosting their annual charity tournament in honor of him this year. The "Ball for Brizzz" event will consist of both a basketball contest and softball tournament. Proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.
Joshua Wayne Anthony Brown was such an amazing individual, friend and teammate. He continues to live in the hearts of those that knew him. The JRF Panthers Softball Team is excited to put together this event in honor of him and hopes we all can work together to make this a success!
